Explore the global history of Indian chintz through textiles collected by Karun Thakar. The exhibition traces how the patterned cotton cloth moved between South Asia, Europe, Southeast Asia and Japan. It runs October 17–December 20 at Fukuoka City Art Museum; standard admission is ¥1,700 for adults and ¥1,100 for high-school and university students, with junior-high students and younger admitted free.
